Who we are
The Independent Women's Coalition Berlin - Stadt der Frauen is an alliance of politically active women from the Berlin Parliament, the state government, trade unions, universities, the media, women's projects, and public life.

What we want
The Independent Women's Coalition Berlin - Stadt der Frauen seeks to channel the aims and practices of independent alliances into future-oriented processes of global renewal.

• in order to focus ideas and initiatives beyond its own effective domain and over party and partisan boundaries
• in order to improve women's living conditions, to strengthen powers of determination and to achieve equal participation in the private and public spheres
• in order to pursue actively the practice of collaboration by women in Berlin and beyond
